Former Child Star Anna Paquin Vamps it Up in Fashion Spread for Marie Clair UK

Anna Paquin's career started with a bang when, aged nine, she became the second youngest person ever to win an Oscar for her role as Holly Hunter's daughter in The Piano, an experience she insists was 'not particularly hard' to deal with. 'There were a few weeks where it was odd,' she shrugs, 'but the next year someone else wins and everybody stops talking about it.'

Since then she has kept busy, starring in films such as Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre before working with the likes of Steven Spielberg, Gus Van Sant and Bryan Singer on the X-Men trilogy. After some 20 films and a year spent exorcising her inner student at Columbia University, Alan Ball (SixFeet Under) gave her the script for his new TV series, True Blood. Read More
