CIF Success: Stefanie Scott

August 05, 2015

All eyes are on 18-year-old Stefanie Scott, as the actress filled some big shoes this summer as the lead in Insidious: Chapter 3.  The up-and-comer is hitting it big this year with a string of films, including the buzzy live-action reboot of Jem and the Holograms.  Stefanie has been a long time member (she was chosen as a photo contest winner way back in 2008) and supporter of Children In Film and we couldn’t be more proud!

Stefanie is best known for her starring roles on the  Disney Channel series  A.N.T. Farm and original movie Frememies, as well as guest  roles on televisions  Law & Order: SVU, Jessie, The New Adventures of Old Christine, and Chuck.

On the big screen Scott has lent her voice to the Oscar-nominated animated adventure Wreck-It Ralph, starred in Rob Reiner's Flipped and co-starred as young Emma, to Natalie Portman's Emma in Paramount Pictures' No Strings Attached.

This multi talented young woman also has a passion for music!  In April 2014, she released her first original single "I Don't Wanna Let You Go," which she co-wrote.

This fall, she will star as "Kimber Benton," the band's lead keyboardist, in Universal Pictures' highly anticipated feature film Jem and the Holograms.
