June 24, 2015

CIF Enhanced Member: Saxon Sharbino

Born and raised in Texas, Sharbino has pursued acting since the age of 9 and was a CIF Photo Contest Winner back in 2008, the same year she made her debut in a minor role for the television series Friday Night Lights! She followed that up with Cool Dog, starring Michael Pare’, Red, White & Blue with Amanda Fuller, I Spit On Your Grave and Earthling with William Katt.

In 2012, Saxon Sharbino beat out hundreds of actresses and was cast as the lead in a gritty spy pilot for FOX.  Shortly after, Sharbino was hired as a series regular on the hit series Touch, where she starred as 'Amelia' opposite Kiefer Sutherland and Maria Bello. She also starred alongside William H. Macy, Amanda Peet and Sam Rockwell in the independent film, Trust Me, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Saxon is currently in theaters as Kendra Bowen in the 2015 remake of Poltergeist

As a member of Children In Film we have watched Saxon spread her wings and we will continue to watch her soar as she conquers the entertainment industry.
