Travis Tope Might be the Hottest Actor You've Never Heard of

November 12, 2013

Wow. Newcomer Travis Tope continues his takeover of Hollywood, with THR now reporting that in addition to the lead role in thriller “November Criminals” opposite Chloe Moretz, Tope has also been offered roles in Jason Reitman’s next, “Men, Women and Children” as well as Rupert Wyatt’s remake of “The Gambler” starring Mark Wahlberg.

THR believes scheduling can be worked out and Tope will join both “November Criminals” and “Men, Women and Children,” in which Tope would play a high school football player and son to Adam Sandler and Rosemarie DeWitt in Reitman’s adaptation of Chad Kultgen’s novel. It’s not clear yet if Tope will be able to also say yes to “The Gambler,” which is based on the 1974 James Caan film, which is in turn based on the Dostoyevsky novel of the same name. Wahlberg plays a professor who seemingly has a great life but is secretly hiding a serious and growing gambling problem. Brie Larson is negotiating for the female lead, while Tope is being sought to play one of Wahlberg’s character’s students. Read More
