'A.N.T. Farm' Actress Says Tween Stars Tour Connects with Young Fans

“A.N.T. Farm” star Alexandria (Allie) DeBerry said Saturday’s Tween Stars Live tour stop at Freedom Hill Amphitheatre is going to be big fun for fans of Disney Channel and Nickelodeon shows like “Shake It Up” and “Victorious.”

“It’s going to be huge,” said DeBerry, 18, who plays popular-but-ditzy head cheerleader Paisley Houndstooth on Disney Channel’s “A.N.T. Farm.”

“This show is a lot more personal than a typical meet-and-greet,” she added. “There’s eight of us and we’re talking to all of the fans, sharing backstage stories, bloopers. And lots of other cool things are planned.”

While in Detroit in June to promote Saturday’s show, DeBerry said that she wishes she had seen a show like Tween Stars Live when she was growing up. Read More
