Syfy Orders More 'Total Blackout'

U.S. cable network Syfy said Monday it has renewed its unscripted competition series "Total Blackout" for a second season.

The show, featuring former child star Jaleel White as host, is the channel's highest-rated new program of 2012, Syfy said.

The second season of eight episodes will begin airing Nov. 13.

"By skillfully using contestants' own imaginations against them, 'Total Blackout' has become a compelling new hit, and a great addition to our growing slate of unscripted programming.
