Spotlight on Raven Symone

March 07, 2008

Raven landed her career-launching role at the young age of four.  In 1989, Raven auditioned for a part in the Bill Cosby movie, Ghost Dad.  She was a little too young for the part, but Bill Cosby liked her so much that he found a part for her on his show, "The Cosby Show," as his grand-daughter Olivia.  Raven played the part of Olivia until 1992, when the "The Cosby Show" went off the air.  She then went on to co-star in the sitcom "Hangin' With Mr. Cooper."  Raven also played Eddie Murphy's rebellious daughter Charisse in the movie, Dr. Dolittle and in Dr. Dolittle 2.  She has voice-over roles as well in the Disney Channel cartoon series "Kim Possible" as the recurring character Monique, and had a role in the 2004 film Fat Albert, and frequently appears in Disney Channel-related telefilms.  Raven is currently the star of Disney Channel's sitcom "That's So Raven."
