Louisiana Teacher Recalls Days as Child Actor

Tune into a rerun of the 1960s sitcom “Petticoat Junction” and you might just catch a glimpse of a baby cradled in the arms of one of the actors.

That baby is now grown, lives in Houma, Louisiana, teaches at a local elementary school and has children of her own.

Heather Tulak, a Houma resident since 2000, and her twin sister Barbara Karpp shared the role of Betty Jo’s baby daughter on the show that ran from 1963 to 1970.  Read more.
