It’s Thursday afternoon at the Toffee Park Youth Centre near Old Street in East London. A crucial scene from the film Haunted by Henry is about to be shot. The disembodied heads of Henry VIII’s six wives will appear in the bedroom of a young girl called Allie, bringing with them a dire warning about the ghostly King’s evil intentions.

The queens’ bodies will be removed later using digital special effects, but for the moment the six wives have to cover their bodies completely using a purple tablecloth. But Catherine of Aragon suffers a fit of the giggles and Anne of Cleves is jostling, determined to swap places with Catherine Howard.  Read More
