Hayden Panettiere, Not Just a Hero on TV

Hayden Panettiere star of Heroes, shows how life can mimic art. The sereies may be on hold, but the world-saving efforts of one cast member are still as strong as ever. Last month Panettiere attempted to play real-life hero, teaming with the Save Japan Dolphins coalition in trying to stop the annual slaughter of dolphins by Japanese fisherman. This weekend Panettiere kicked off the Weather Channel's inaugural Forecast Earth Summit in Washington, D.C., Friday, speaking to a group of high school students about climate and environmental literacy and her involvement with the Save the Whales Again! and Declare Yourself campaigns.
